Rag Rug

A cheap comfy rug for your footsies!
 <  Image 1 of 2  >

There are many tutorials online, I took tips from them all.

Basically, tear the bed sheets into strips and crochet them as if they were yarn (very very thick yarn). You need a very very large crochet hook. This can be done in any pattern, but I like circles. (And of course you can use any scrap fabric you can find. I used polyester blends but I hear cotton is best.)

Very cool. What size crochet hook did you use?

The biggest I could find, Tammy! It doesn't have the size marked on it at all, but it's slightly smaller than the diameter of a dime. It came in a 2-pack at WalMart with another smaller one (which also works, but with thinner strips of course).
