Transform your dull one colour cutlery to something wonderfull...
With just a bunch of old cutlery, some cans of spray paint and a roll of masking tape you can create these Interesting Kitchen Items!

I firstly found some old, or unwanted cutlery, Nothing too special, especially if its your practice run.

Always remember to masking tape off the parts you want left, I would say the ends which you eat with are a definate area to avoid painting.

Once you have done that you can add stripes, horizontal, diagonal, or another type of pattern.

Then using spray paint, You can get them from most DIY, hardware or local shops for that matter, and they can come in cans as small as 100ml and many different colours.

Spray your Cutlery (remembering to cover the surface you are working on, Spray paint can be washed off with Nail varnish remover but can damage your surface at the same time), Once on the front, letting it dry for a good hour or more, then the back, again leaving it at least an hour before removing the tape!

It will then take up to 24 hours to completley dry before you can use them.

(Please read the instructions on the back of the spray paint can before use, all paints are different) And use in a well ventilated area!!

Then you will have cutlery like no one else! And in colours to suit you, or to match your kitchen!

I recently been working on this myself with some left over spray paint and cutlery from charity shops. Love this idea and the yellow!
