Make a quick pom pom by wrapping yarn round your hand

Step 1Cut an 8" piece from a ball of yarn

Step 2Wrap yarn from the ball around your hand. I used super chunky yarn and wrapped it 50 times.

Step 3Thread 8" length yarn between your middle and ring fingers as shown.

Step 4It should look like this at the back of your hand.

Step 5Tie the 8" piece of yarn with two overhand knots as tightly as possible.

Step 6Slip it off the hand and cut the loops at either side.

Step 7It'll be pretty messy at first!

Step 8Trim the ends and roll it in your palms to neaten it up!
