Sometimes you can only wonder who's supposed to wear these t-shirts......... NO MORE DEATH BY T-SHIRT!!!
So there's this shirt, right? The one with the killer print, right? ( *caugh* See starter pic, the cool killer print I made? *caugh* ) The one that would just fit you perfeclty IF IT WASN'T FOR THE COLLAR OF GRUESOME SUFFOCATION?!?!?! Or the sleeves that try to just make your arm fall off by adding constant pressure???

I am a rather thin girl, but with the two t-shirts you'll see in the how-to, even I had my problems. Who the f*ck is supposed to wear them? One of them was even labeled size M and I couldn't make my head fit through the collar!

Making the shirt rot in some corner of your closet is -not- the answer. Grab your scissors and follow me into a really easy how-to!

    Step 1

What on earth happened to that sleeve? I mean, LOOK AT THAT, you can see the pain it causes without even having to try it on!

But since I love the shirt and since it was a gift, I gathered some courage and a pair of scissors and just...

...snip snip snipped the sleeve seam off. Don't you worry, the wonky edges you can see in the picture have been taken care off.

If you have no problem with the sleeves but with the collar, follow me to the next step...

    Step 3

Since I LOVE square neck shirts, I traced a shape onto some paper and cut it out. You could also do V or U shapes OR just follow the edge of the seam.

If you feel shape-ish, draw your template onto the shirt with some chalk. The needle represents the middle ( I swear, the shirt was pretty crooked... ), and since my pattern was created with a center fold for perfect symmetry, I had a starting point to work with.

    Well, and then...

    ...and adore.

No sewing neccessary. With the majority of the standard shirts that are used for band shirts or other prints ( e.g. they often use Fruit of the Loom ), the open cut will not unravel unless you start pulling like a madman.
