The Eleventh Hour Scarf and variations
A great last minute gift idea. I used some inexpensive yet super soft acrylic yarn and just sat and watched tv until it was done.

The picture is just a generic something until I get one of the finished product.

These scarves are just an exercise in basic stitches. I did one in seed stitch and one in garter stitch.

  • Step 1

With yarn doubled, cast on an odd number of stitches. I did 11.

  • Step 2

For seed stitch scarf, s|1 knitwise, then k1, p1 to end of row.

For garter stitch scarf, s|1 knitwise then knit to end of row.

  • Step 3

Repeat last step until the scarf reaches the desired length.

Bind off loosely and weave in ends.
