Pyjama Sack

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Cut out a long rectangle of fabric.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Fold in half so that the wrong side of the fabric is facing out and sew up either side leaving about 3 inches at the top.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Cut two long lengths of string or ribbon.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Lay the first length of string down so that it loops around the top of the sack.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Lay the other length of string facing the other way, so that you have two ends and a loop at either side.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Fold the excess fabric edge over the strings and pin tightly in place.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    Sew below the string on either side of the sack.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

    Fold inside out.

  9. Step 9

    Step 9

    Tie the two ends of the tails at either side in to a knot.

  10. Step 10

    Step 10

    Pull together and you've made a drawstring.
