A purple cameo necklace

A purple cameo necklace that I made to wear with a new purple jumper, now I'm all set for winter : )

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    I started with a cameo border and using pliers I joined a jump ring to the top.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    This meant that the necklace chain could be threaded through the ring.


  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    I joined a clasp to the ends of the chain so it could be do up.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    The cameo plaque was then glued into place on the border.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    This completed my necklace : )

What kind of glue would you recommend?

I just used dotties craft glue because I couldn't find anything stronger around the house. Although I don't think it would hold too well... but maybe a really strong superglue would have been a better option.
