With G hook and orange yarn and leaving a long (10-inch tail), ch 10. Sc across and ch 1 turn. Sc across and ch 1 turn. *Sc into the outer/back loops, all the way across. Ch 1 turn. Sc across. Ch 1 turn.* Repeat between * * for 19 more rows. Finish off, leaving a long (8-inch) tail.
Weave one tail back and forth along the long side (this will be the bottom of the pumpkin) of the rectangle and pull tightly in order to gather it. Sew up the two ends of the rectangle that are the first and last rows of crochet. Adorn with eyes and mouth using picture as guide and stuff with polyester fiberfill. With the remaining tail, weave back and forth along open part at the top and pull tightly in order to gather it. Secure and fasten off.
