  • How to make a t-shirt. Print A T Shirt - Step 1
    Step 1

Firstly gather your things! I would recommend putting down newspaper and having a mug of water for your brushes. Oh and get an old cardboard box that's about the same size as your shirt.

  • Step 2

Next you should draw your picture/text/design onto the contact paper. Nothing too complicated though. Afterwards cut around it and then cut out the inside. You'll need small scissors for that.

  • Step 3

Get your cut out design and peel off the backing sheet so your left with clear plastic. Stick it onto your t shirt where you want it.

  • Step 4

Now put the cardboard inbetween you top and start painting! Make sure you have enough paint to fill in your design. I used Dylon Fabric Paint from Boys but you could use any brand and color. (It's in the UK)

  • Step 5

Do Step 4 as many times as you like depending on how you want your t shirt. Leave it to dry for a while and peel off the plastic. (That's my favourite part.) It will take a while to dry but it will look good when it's done.

  • Step 6

Finally iron your shirt. Remember to read you paint instructions. Mine said to iron over my top with a cloth on top and using a high setting but some say to use grease paper or whatever. This stops it from just coming off when you wash it.. Now go wear your new awesome t shirt!
