Peach felt badge

I did this one for the Nintendo felt badge swap, for my swap partner Lilim. I'm quite happy with how it turned out, especially since it's the first time I've tried to make something out of felt ;). As you can see, there was a lot of sewing to be done to finish her, which was quite a chore for me, as I couldn't sew to save my life before trying to make this badge. My girlfriend had to show me how to sew beforehand ;). So here's how it goes: I based her appearance on a paper mario-artwork of her and used different colored pieces of felt. I cut out pieces I needed(like the hair, crown, etc.) and sewed them on a silhouette. Some of the small details are glued. After sewing all parts together and adding some beads in different colors for setting highlights, I attached a safety pin on her back, so she can be worn as a badge.
