I used a basic circle skirt pattern with a six inch bottom ruffle. This skirt is made from a red/brown 100% cotton material with a gold and cream heart print. All of the raw edges have been finished and the skirt is top-stitched on the bottom of the waistband and top of the ruffles in order to provide a better outline and to allow the seams to lay flat. The skirt uses a drawstring, but there is no elastic in the waistband. This is my favorite print... my store needs to be in the black again before I can buy more for myself. sigh
