• 

  Step 1

  Choose the symbol or logo you want to paint onto your top, I went for the Prada logo because it's quite an easy logo.

  Step 2

  When you're searching for your logo, make sure you choose the highest quality photo so you can print it out bigger. Make sure the contrast between the background and image is high as this will make it easier to trace.

  Step 3

  Once you've printed out you logo, lay your top out on a flat surface and place the piece of paper with the printed logo on it, under the first layer of the t-shirt and secure it down with masking tape so it doesn't move.

  Step 4

  Start to paint over the logo with a thin brush, make sure you take your time because its easy to mess up. Make sure your hands are completely clean all the time so you don't accidentally put paint where you don't want it to be.

  Step 5

  If it helps you can shine a bright light over your shirt to see through the shirt better.

• 

  Step 6

  When you're done painting the logo, read your fabric paint tin to see how to set it properly, I just had to iron over mine.

  Step 7

  Measure where you want the chain to stop and cut 5 or more pieces of chain the same length, or if you want you can gradually shorten the length as they get closer to the collar.

  Step 8

  Once you've cut the pieces of chain, place them roughly where you would like them to go.

• 

  Step 9

  Start to sew them onto the shoulders of your top, push a needle and thread through the back of the top and put the needle through the chain to attach it to the top securely.

• 

  Step 10

  Sew all of the pieces of chain onto your top and onto the other side and you're done!
