  1. Step 1

    Cut your squares.

    4.5" squares, or Charm Squares

    9.5" square back fabric
    1- 9.5 squares cotton batting

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Decide how you want squares arranged


  3. Step 3

    Sew top row together

    Sew bottom row together

  4. Step 4

    Sew rows together


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Layer backing and top with right sides together.
    Stack batting on top.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Sew all sides with 1/4" seam allowance.
    Leave an opening... about 3" wide.

  7. Step 7

    Step 7

    Clip corners, and turn right side out. Press opening under 1/4" and pin closed.

  8. Step 8

    Step 8

    Stitch at about 1/8"
    Then topstitch about 1/2" from the edge

  9. Step 9

    Step 9

    Optional: quilt it however you would like
