posterboard cat I made for my sculpture class
Had to make a sculpture for my art class made out of one sheet of posterboard, couldn't cut anything completely off, and there had to be an interior and exterior. Sorry there aren't any pictures I was just trying to get it done quickly.

  • Step 1

First I drew out all the measurements for the legs, tail, and head, and made the cuts I needed. Then I rolled up and stapled the legs and tail.

  • Step 2

Next I decided I wanted the cat to have a rib like look and add to the quality of interior vs exterior so I made different length cuts so that the insides would be different sizes. After cutting all lengths for the body I rolled them up so they would make the shape I wanted and stapled.

  • Step 3

Next I knew I needed ears and a head shape, so I cut slits for the ears and folded them up, I then folded in the two bottom corners of the face so it looked a little more cat like.

  • Step 4

Tape together any pieces that aren't flush and you're done.
