Popsicle Stick Bookmarks!

Hoorah. I was bored yesterday, so made a bunch of pins and bookmarks like these ones. They look authentic and plastic thanks to mod podge.

  1. Step 1

    First, get yer materials;
    Modpodge
    Two posicle sticks with the ends cut off
    Paper
    Ribbon
    Charm (optional)
    Hot glue + hot glue gun

    Cut a slip of paper a bit bigger than the popsicle stick.

    Step 3

    Draw your design on the paper.

  4. Step 4

    Hot glue the paper to the posicle stick.


  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    Wrap and hot glue the paper sides hanging off of the stick to the back.

    Your stick SHOULD look like this.

    Hot glue some ribbon to the back.

    Using the other popsicle stick, sandwhich the ribbon between the paper covered and plain stick with hot glue.

    Cut the ribbon to the desired length. Thread the ribbon through the top of a charm.

  10. Step 10

    Step 10

    Tie the ribbon around the hook, cut off the access ribbon, and dab some hot glue on the knot to bond it better.

    Mod podge the book mark. This will make it glossy and plasticy. Let it dry, and your book mark is done!
