Will you ZomBIE my Valentine?
I loved making this card! I had some randomn scrapbooking material that I used for this. The part that really took me the longest was deciding what to write on it. It's my first attempt at a pop up card ever and most likely not the last. On the front it says "I have nothing more to give you than my heart..." On the inside it asks "Will you zomBIE my Valentine?" I do have to thank Stephanie E. for her inspiring card!! I may try a how-to if I'm asked an insane amount of times;)

Ok. To start off it's not much of a how to. It's a 'I how bumbled through it.' Therefore, no pictures to go along with it. (insert sad face here) Aaand it seems co&k won't let me add steps. ok.
Get your cardstock colors, markers, tape and glue. The tape is your failsafe. (in case you mess up placing something, then it's not permanently glued)
Get a pretty good idea of what you want in your card, do a rough draft first, if you need to, then make it completely awesome with colors, glitters, & glue, then cut it out and leave a tab at the base. I dove in headfirst with an exacto knife and got VERY lucky. Make sure whatever you do cut out fits in the card.
*IMPORTANT* When placing your cutouts; do it in a way that when you close the card, you do not have any pieces sticking out.
Tape the tab on the base of your cut out down. (you can glue AFTER everything is correctly in place)Now, to make it pop-up you need extra cardstock the same color as the card. Using a slim cut piece of card stock, tape one end to the midback of cut out and the other to the card. When the card is opened, that slim piece is what pulls the picture up. Just like class pictures, Keep your tall ones in the back and the short ones can be in front.
When you are happy with placement and the card opens and closes smoothly.. THEN you can GLUE it Down!!!!! yay!! Now you have a Completely awesome Pop up card of Looove. OH and decorate the front as you like After you have the inside complete, that way you don't accidently mess it up.
I hope you can decipher this mess and make an awesome card!!
