• 

  Step 1

  Cream together the butter and sugar.

• 

  Step 2

  Beat in the egg and add the vanilla.

• 

  Step 3

  Mix into a thick cookie dough.

• 

  Step 4

  Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.

• 

  Step 5

  Cut out your cookies with a cookie cutter and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

• 

  Step 6

  Bake at 180'c for 10 minutes.

• 

  Step 7

  Roll out a little royal icing.

• 

  Step 8

  Sprinkle with hundreds and thousands and roll a little more to embed the sprinkles into the icing.

• 

  Step 9

  Spread the top of each cookie with a little strawberry jam.

• 

  Step 10

  Cut the icing into cookie sized rectangles.

• 

  Step 11

  Place the icing over the jam and you're done!
