My boyfriend makes the greatest Fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had. Unfortunately, making his can drain a bank account. I found a recipe for some that tastes great and doesn't cost near as much.

Cream Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Margarine
Milk
over low heat until smooth. -
Add Fettuccine and toss.

lol! No, poor kid alfredo, (sounds like a nick name), is whatever noodles you can get a hold of, with margarine and parmesan from the can mixed in! Cream cheese is a luxury! lol! I did this often at my bf's appartment long ago, in a not so distant tax bracket. :p
