Pretty Easy
Description

These easy to make pendants can be personalised with any name for a unique little present! I have used here some traditional tattoo style lettering, but why not try the name of your favourite band,or your boyfriend's name.....

Instructions
  1. 1
    Step 1

take a grape-sized piece of red polymer clay, and shape into a heart around a piece of wire. bend the borrom of the wire into a hook shape before inserting, to make it more secure.

  2. 2
    Step 2

Roll out some white polymer clay thinly, and cut into strips about 5mm wide and one and a half times the width of the heart

  3. 3
    Step 3

Cut little "v" shapes out of each end of white strip and lay across the heart

  4. 4
    Step 4

Fold over each end of white strip like this.....

  5. 5
    Step 5

Make tiny roses by rolling up a little strip of red polymer clay.
Form tiny leaves from green polymer clay as shown.....

  6. 6
    Step 6

Gently press rose/ leaves in place.
Gently press white "ribbon " in place.
Bake in oven at 130 degrees C for 30 minutes

  7. 7
    Step 7

    When cool, add lettering.
Either use waterproof ink and a super-fine calligraphy pen, or else use another image transfer technique of your choice....

  8. 8
    Step 8

Give the completed pendant 2 or 3 coats of varnish.
Add 3 little black seed beads to wire, then form a loop and attatch to some thonging.

Just some tips - use an enamel paint pen (marabu brilliant painter in 1-2mm is good) and varnish with a water based varnish, but dont waste money on a brand name like fimo or sculpty all you need is Clear POLYURETHANE GLOSS Varnish you can find it cheap on ebay. the water based varnish wont react with the fimo and turn it sticky :) Hope thats helpful :) x
