Keep you iPhone cosy and cute with a polaroid camera style case.
My friend loves her iPhone almost as much as she loves photography, so I thought it'd be a great idea to make her a polaroid camera cosy for her iPhone.

    Draw around your phone on to a scrap piece of paper to make a template.

    Cut this out.

    Draw around the template on to the beige felt.

    Cut out two of these.

    Use the template to cut out a 1.5 inch black strip to fit along the bottom of the front beige rectangle.

    Cut small strips of coloured felt to make a rainbow. Glue these together, side by side or use a piece of tape to stick behind the rainbow. Lay behind the black strip and stitch along the top edge of the black strip.

    Cut a large circle of black felt and a smaller circle of blue felt. Cut a hole the size of your big button in the middle of the blue circle and place on top of the black circle, in the middle of your camera.

    Stitch around the edge of the edge of the circles.

    Cut a black rectangle in the shape of the viewfinder ad stitch to the top right hand corner of your camera.

    Cut a small blue square a stitch on top.

    Cut a small rounded rectangle and two small strips of blue felt and stitch to the top left hand side of the camera.

    Cut two thin long strips of blue felt, one thicker than the other, and stitch on top of the black strip.

    Cut a circle of orange felt and a slightly smaller circle of black felt and place to the left and right of the camera lens.

    Place two white buttons on top of each and stitch in place.

    Place the medium clear button on top of the larger black button and stitch in to the center of the camera lens.

    Step 16

    Place your phone on top of the back beige piece and lay the front on top. Cut a strip of black felt long enough to fit around the circumference of the cosy and a little wider than the height of the two felt pieces with the phone in between.

    Stitch the felt strip to the back beige piece, leaving one top edge open.

    Place the phone inside, making sure it fits nice.

    Lay the top piece on top and stitch around the edges, with the iPhone still inside making sure it fits snuggly.

    Step 20

    Cut off the excess from the felt strip and any loose threads and you're all done. Happy snapping... I mean phoning!

I hand sewed the entire thing though it was be much easier to machine sew!
