So, I had a couple boxes of Pocky (japanese chocolate covered pretzel sticks).
I got a couple cheap wall clocks from the dollar store, and decided to get crafty <3
The picture of the final product shows that I didn't paint or hid the previous white face of the clock. I made 2 of these clocks, I painted the white area with black acrylic paint, but I forgot to take pictures, sorry.
Both clocks were sold for 2.5USD at a local Anime Convention :3

What was the selling price? I see 2.5usd, do you mean $2.50 or is that a typo.
Great idea. It would actually be even better if the clock hands were shaped into the sticks. Maybe using fimo clay to form around the hands.

2.50 USD as in US Dollars =) I'm from Mexico and my geeky american bf uses that kind of format for his own currency XD
And yeah you can go crazy with the idea! Sadly, it is nearly impossible for me to get fimo, the idea was to use things that I could recycle or get for super cheap. Though, adding weight to the hands might affect the weak mehcanism of the clock, I'd use some sort of paper or somethign super light weight instead of any sculping material. Thanks for commenting!!

i think that u should do the hands like neon and the markings for the clock so u can really see the time. Great project. Pocky is yummm.:D

Hurray for Pocky! Good idea; its nice, simple and effective. And regarding reese52's comment about having pocky shaped hands, another idea would be to just get some pocky, layer it in varnish and glue them on. XD I'm not exactly re if it would work though...
