    Step 1

Begin by cutting the pumpkin image and the phrase for the inside of the card out using the Silhouette Cameo and the Designer Software.

  • Step 2

Open the pumpkin image a second time in the Designer Software and remove the sections to create a solid image by following these steps:
Size it to the size you want. Then right click and select duplicate. This will allow you to keep the one image intact that you want to cut the entire design on. Then on the one that you want solid right click and select ungroup (you won't see anything happen other than the selection handle will disappear. Then right click it again and select release compound path. Now you will be able to move the pieces off the mat and delete them leaving you with a solid pumpkin. Cut the solid pumpkin out as you would any image.

  • Step 3

Create a 5" x 7" card base from cardstock. Adhere the phrase to the inside of the card.

  • Step 4

Cut a 4" x 6" piece of cardstock and punch 2 holes on top of each other in the top left corner and 2 more side by side of each other in the bottom right corner. Place the brads through the holes and close them. Layer the cardstock on top of the card base and adhere it with a tape runner.

  • Step 5

NOTE: The next few steps are shown in the pictures using cardstock, but for this card use patterned paper to create the pocket.
