I brought a knee length denim skirt from an opshop and cut it short, then I stole some tartan material from my best friend and hemmed then pleated it and sewed it to the bottom inside of the skirt, now its my favourite piece of clothing!

This also works really well if you have a mini that feels a little too short to wear comfortably, plus you can mess around with different colours ands styles
