Playing Card Notebook

Keep your poker face by hiding your secrets away in a playing card notebook.

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Starting with the card, this will be our back sheet, mark where you want the hole studs to go.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Punch in the hole studs.

  3. Step 3

    Step 3

    Do the same for the playing card.

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Punch holes in to the sheets of paper in the correct places.

  5. Step 5

    Step 5

    You will now have your three piles. Open up the jump rings using needle nose pliers.

  6. Step 6

    Step 6

    Slip the jump rings through the piles and then close them up.

I just used normal paper and cut it down to size. The back is just this bit of card that I got with something in the post but you can really use anything.

this project is so cute! What kind of paper did you use and how did you cut it to fit with the card? By hand? or did it come that way? What is the back card?

I was trying 2 put the eyelet through all of the paper instead of just the card- no wonder i couldn't fit much paper in!

i will make one. it's my boyfriend's birthday on the 15th and he's kinda obsessed with playing cards. his doodles almost always contain playing cards. :D thanks for the inspiration.
