simple little flower from a deck of card I got free at a garage sale.

    Step 1

    first take a circle shaped item and trace it to a piece of paper and cut it out. put it on the card and cut out carefully.

    once cut out fold it in half with the pattern inside and take the corner and fold it up like a triangle.
    flip inside out so it looks like this.

    close it again and staple the bottom right near the edge on the folded part.

    open it and this is what it should look like.

    fold the card over horizontally and unfold so its open more. repeat with 4 other petals

    thread your needle and push it through near where you stapled it and string on. put on the other 4 petals and tie it. cut off the string excess (make sure its tight)

btw I found if you use hot glue instead of sewing it It comes out better.
