Almost good enough to eat watermelon!
One of many play food items i have made for my girls to use in their play kitchen instead of plastic play food.

    Cut out the shapes you see in this image.

    Use the wool to stitch 'seeds' onto the two pieces of red fabric.

    Step 3

    Pin the green fabric to one piece of red fabric right sides facing and sew in place using your sewing machine or by hand.
    Do the same with the other side then sew the top together leaving a small opening.

    Step 4

    Pull the watermelon right sides out through the small opening and press.

    Step 5

    Stuff with hobbyfil or scraps and sew the opening closed.

what size did you cut out?
i would like to make them about 3 inches long but dont want to be playing with fabric.. lol
i am replacing the hanging toys for my babies swing to match the seat cover i made for it.
any ideas on what the size should be to get 3 inches in length when done? also what size of inseam did you use?
