Turn A Broken Plastic Cup Into A Pencil Holder =)
A few days ago, I was watching TV and drinking a refreshing beverage. Then I noticed my plastic cup (glass?) was leaking from the bottom. I'm usually a messy person, but recently discovered the art of organization =) Being a crafty person, there's lots of things scattered all over my bedroom... I decided to end the chaos and make organizers myself. Sorry for my ranting, I'm new to this craft how-to thing U^^ and english is my second language, so I apologize for my spelling and grammar mistakes, hope you enjoy. <3

  • How to make a pot. Plastic Cup Pencil Holder - Step 1
    Step 1

    You'll need:

    A broken drinking cup
    A candy wrap/bag (I'm using a kisses bag)
    some ribbon
    plastic contact paper
    scissors
    glue

I made a second pencil holder, using a soda can cut out rectangle, and a book page.

Oh and that's my lovely assistant DOMO-KUN :E !!!that I made myself

  • How to make a pot. Plastic Cup Pencil Holder - Step 2
    Step 2

Cut out the shape that you want to keep from the candy wrap or bag.

cover it with the contact paper on the right side to make it more durable. (you can skip this step)

add glue to the back of your cut out design.

    Step 3

Attatch the cut out design to the plastic cup.

I put the cup on my legs so it wouldn't move and mess up the attatching process.

    Step 4

I glued some red ribbon (that was leftover from another project) around the edge of the cup.

    Step 5

I had a smaller plastic cup laying around, this is a q-tips container. I cut out a rectangle from a soda can. I glued ribbon and framed the piece of tin so it wouldn't cut my hand's palm whenever I grabbed it.

Then I just rolled a book page inside the container, for decoration :3

Note1: the soda can was used to make scented oil burner, will post how-to later if people want.

Note2: I didn't sacrifice a new or important book to get the page... it was also a leftover from a different project(secret hiding place).

    And there you have it!!!

I put wooden color pencils in both containers, according to size.

I hope you liked this simple how-to and join the recycling-crafting movement.
