Plastic Bag Yarn (Pby)

  • Completed Project: Plastic Bag Yarn (Pby) Picture #1

Be Keen, Go Green

---Plastic Bag Yarn--- or PBY as i like to call it, can be any many colors. Most common are brown and white. Perfect for making water proof beach bags, outdoor rugs, bathmats, drink cozies, place mats....

Best part is if you are in the middle of crochet and you run out of string you can add it to the end, and not have to worry about securing the stitch.

I have used this in projects such as:

Plastic Bag Stool Upholstery
Soda Tab Swim Top...

You know what would be useful? A tutorial for yarn ball making, or skien<sp?> making. My little bro-in-law just got some giant bags from toys'r'us, its gonna make a few yards of yarn itself..:)
