Cut Out + Keep | Project

Give some one a party treat with a pinata.

Blow up a balloon to the size that you would like your pinata to be.
Cut strips of newspaper, coat them in PVA glue and then stick them to the balloon.
When you have covered the entire balloon, let it dry and then repeat with 4 more layers.
When the newspaper is all dry, start painting the balloon. Paint with two layers of paint and leave to dry.
Cut a circle out of the top for the lid, this should pop the balloon so remove the popped balloon.
Pierce two holes on either side of the circle hole and tie a length of string between the hole.
Wrap up sweets and treat in little parcels and pop them inside the pinata.
Place the lid back on, decorate and hang up the pinata somewhere away from anything breakable. Blindfold a friend, spin them round, give them a stick and watch as they try to break the pinata.
