Step 1Here is the original pinafore i got from supre 2 years ago that i found in my closet.

Step 2Unpick the straps and buttons and pockets.

Step 3Cut the top of the pinafore which will be the waist section so it is equal.

Step 4on both sides of the skirt, cut slits that are the width of the straps.

Step 5insert one strap in each hole on each side.

Step 6pin on the inside making sure that the fabric on the two sides of the straps are exactly on the end of the strap.

Step 7sew the straps to the fabric inside and overlock if possible. do not make a hole in the skirt ! After sewing on the straps, pin and sew the top of the pinafore so that the raw edges of the cut fabric are inside.

Step 8Cut the pinafore shorter depending on what length you want it to be. keep in mind that you will need to hem it.

Step 9pin and sew the hem

Step 10You have a brand new (sort of) skirt.
The straps can be tied into a bow in the front. wear the skirt with a tank top or t-shirt :)
