It good for snuggling and kittens love them!
Okay okay, I know this one isn't difficult or even that creative...but it's plaid! That has to count for something...right? =P

This cube actually works pretty good as a hackey sack.

Good for throwing at people...

Good for Kittens, who love to attack inanimate objects.

  • How to make a shaped cushion. Pillow Cube - Step 1
    Step 1

Cut out a square using your paper or cardboard. Trace out 6 squares onto your fabric.

    Cut out your 6 squares

    Step 3

Start sewing your cube together. If you follow the pattern in the picture it should be pretty easy. Not hard, I know.

    Step 4

Leave one of the sides not sewn up, so you can turn it right side out and stuff that bad boy.

    Step 5

Now here's where the pattern can vary. You can stuff it with your traditional stuffing, or if you don't feel like buying any you can trash a t-shirt and stuff it with that, much to my preference. Just cut stripes out of the shirt, then make them about
1/2" x 4-5". Depending on how big you made your cube, you may very well end up using the whole t-shirt...I did. I DO NOT recommend using the lining of the shirt...It's not as soft or cushy. Leaves hard lumps in the cube.

    Fill her up!

    Step 7

One she's full, stitch it up!

Now one thing this cube is good for is throwing at people! Especially if you filled it with the t-shirt strips! Seriously though, I just wail it at my little sister. It doesn't hurt! It's just funny to watch her freak out. =P

Also...kittens love this toy. Mine goes at it like crazy.

This is so cute!!!

You know, this would be a great decoration/present for Christmas or birthdays. All you have to do is put a pretty ribbon around it and a bow and *presto* a plushie present! I would even stitch some kawaii eyes and a little mouth on it.

Great job! <3
