I made these dresses for my friends little girls, and they wore them at a festival and everyone loved them.

I took an old pillow case and cut the closed end off to just a little longer than I wanted the dress.

Then cut arms in the open end of the pillow case.

I braided the extra pieces of pillow case to make the drawl string that goes through the hems on the open end of the pillow case.

I cut the sides of the pillow case about 3 inches in and then along the seem to make little knots on the side for flair (and because I wasn't at my sewing machine).
