I revamped a wooden frame with a little gold leaf wash, and embellished it with flowers I made using paper mache pulp pushed into shallow flower molds which was actually one of my moms super expensive shortcake pans with lovely impresions. Only to ensure that there would be no damage to her bakeware, I used activa instant paper mache pulp mixed with warm water. After they dried, I sanded and sealed them, then painted and used a glossy varnish over the top.
