Instructions

  1. Small coaster3

Gather all of your supplies: Sandpaper or a sanding block

  2. Matte FInish Mod Podge (or glossy depending on your preference), paintbrushes, (get some cheaper ones because they tend to get messed up if you don't wash them properly), some ceramic bath tiles, scissors to cut the picture, and the pictures, scrap paper, or fabric you want to adhere to the tiles.

  3. Small coaster

Take your ceramic tile and choose what picture you want on there. I used scrapbooking paper for the first tile. Trace out your image/paper/fabric and cut.

  4. Paint on the modpodge, getting some on the sides so that you can try to get the edges to stay down. This especially difficult for the pictures.

  5. Small coaster2

Place your image down with the back facing the modpodge and using a clean brush start brushing it down. This will prevent air bubbles. Keep rubbing the edges to push the edges down towards the modpodge. I used a foam brush and when it came to the corners i took the handle and slid it back and forth along the edges for further reinforcement.

  6. Sand down the edges until you get the look you want. Add one more layer of modpodge to seal it and WALA!
