Do four layers of chevron with the white string you can make it as big or as small as you want.

Then separate the side so there it is even on both sides and then you do right knots on the left side and left knots on the right side. Make it as long as you need it. When you are done this you should have two separate columns connected at the top.

Then you do four more rows of chevron to connect them at the bottom.

Then you take the red and sew it in to look like a baseball and connecting the two sides and bringing them together.
