  • How to make a Christmas tree ornament. Pet Ornament - Step 1
    Step 1

Find the photo you want to use. Take the Shrinky dink paper, and put it over your photo. Use a black sharpie to outline the animal. You may have to improvise a few spots.

Keep in mind that you this will shrink a lot, maybe three times or so as small as your original picture.

    Step 2

I was able to find the dogs name by googling "Charlotte name", and then looking at images. I placed the paper over the name and then traced it with my sharpie.
I then placed paper over the flower image for the background, and traced that.

Use color sharpies to color in, then punch a hole at the top.
If you get white paper (not clear) then, you will have a white background when it bakes.
*Make sure to use a regular size hole punch, because it will shrink.

Bake according to the package instructions.

Once it's done, you can use clear glitter paint to add some sparkle, or leave the way it is. I used the glitter paint over the flower only.

Thread ribbon through the hole...and you're done!

Put in a cute gift box or hang on your tree!
