A simple, fun project.
I made this a while ago, when I was first getting into guitar and kept losing my picks. I feel kinda weird throwing away paper jewelry boxes, because I know there's so much I can do with them, so I turned one into my guitar pick box...This project could really be adapted tons of different ways, for any small object.
Sorry there are no step-by-step pictures, but it's not a complicated project or anything. :)

  • Step 1

Take the bottom half of the box and cover it with masking tape.

  • Step 2

Draw over a fingertip with one color of marker. Really make sure to get a lot of ink on your fingertip. (I used Crayola markers, so it came off quickly after I washed my hands.) Now stamp your fingertip over the top of the box, reapplying ink as desired. Repeat with different colors on different fingertips.
The other guitar-specific idea I had for this is to trace picks in different colors over the top of the box.

  • Step 3

Center a sticker in the middle of the top half of the box. Take one color marker and make a border around the sticker and the sides of the top of the box.
Then, put your stuff in the box and go be a rock star.
