Create personal picnic caddies to tote all your outdoor dining (or drinking) essentials

Put a little pep in your schlep for your next outdoor picnic or happy hour. Create personalized, lovely caddies to tote your picnic essentials.

You Will Need:

- scrapbook paper
- 4 or 6 pack cardboard drink caddies
- a hot glue gune (and glue)
- scissors, a ruler and a pencil for creating your templates (If you're using the Trader Joe's soda four packs, you can use the template I've attached to this project)

Crafts

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

Start with old drink caddies. If you're using soda caddies from Trader Joe's, you're in luck - I've uploaded my templates to share.

  2. Step 2 2

If you're starting from scratch, flatten your caddy and trace the sides onto your scrapbook paper. I recommend doing a trial version on plain (and cheaper) paper first.

Once you've got a template that works, cut out the cover and fold along seams. I also drew and cut flaps to make a smoother, printed edge along the bottom.

  3. Step 3 3

Glue the template to your caddy along the seams and flaps.

  4. Step 4 4

Trace and cut a template for the handle.

  5. Step 5 5

    Fill with treats and enjoy!
