  • Completed Project: Perfumed Rocks Picture #1

Rocky Fun

I made these a while back and my brother, being the fool he is, ate one. The docters said he had food poisoning.

  1. Step 1

For this one you'll need half a cup of salt, half a cup of flour, a quarter of a cup of warm water, a dash of food colouring and a touch of essential oil (eg lavender).

  2. Step 2

    Mix everything in a bowl

  3. Step 3

Take out the mixture a little bit at a time, and mould it into pebble shapes.

  4. Step 4

Leave them to dry flat out on a baking tray/foil for about two days

  5. Step 5

    Put somewhere hehe

Silly brother. Do you use these in the bath like bath bombs or are they like pot pouri?

They really do look real. I wonder if they would be more edible (not as goodies, but to make it more child safe, just in case. How old is your brother hehe!) if instead of a touch of essential oil you used something food grade like vanilla extract / essence! Hmmmm!
