Turn your old pearl necklace into a new one
I used an old necklace to make this collar. You can use other beads too of coarse. I used 89 pearls but you can use more or less as long as you use an odd number of pearls.

Collect your stuff. Cut the fishing line into two pieces.

Make a cord with 45 pearls. The middle bead is colored. You will use it in the next step.

Take the second piece of line and put it through 7 pearls. Then put 22 pearls on the line. (Lame grammar, isn't it?) Put the fishing line through the 23th pearl.

Put 22 pearls on the line and put it through the last 7 pearls of the first line.

Finish it with the crimps and clasp.
