Nom nom nom nom :D

I've loved these since I was a little kid. Totally wicked but I won't tell if you won't ;)

The raw dough is extremely delish as well :D

Makes about 30 or so medium sized cookies(the recipe says 5 dozen but I'm guessing that's for tiny little cookies that aren't worth it ;P)

This is from an old recipe book which I only have 1 remaining page from.

Recipe

  1. 1

Heat the oven to 180C/gas mark 5/ 375F.

Sieve the baking powder and bicarbonate of soda together.

  2. 2

Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together.

I'd recommend heating in the microwave for 20secs to heat the butter (but NOT melt!) to make the mixing process easier :)

  3. 3

Gather the mixture together and roll into small balls.

Place on a greased baking tray (fairly wide apart as they spread) and flatten with a fork.

  4. 4

Bake in the oven for 7-10 minutes, until slightly golden. (They are very nice when they are on the chewy side.)

  5. 5

    Enjoy! :D

And if you are like me, keep them in a tub out of sight to avoid eating them all at once ;P
