Sometimes Savers has surprise bags of fabric, and when I can get them for a dollar, I usually buy a bag or 3, most of the time its just out of style or mediocre fabric, that I give to my ex to use for rags in his shop, but every once in a while theres a hidden treasure.
I got a huge panel with 2 of the peacock motifs and another one that was hacked up, I was able to salvage some of the hacked up bits to make a bag. The big panel I have no idea what to do with, maybe a pair of really pretty pillows. Its upholstery silkscreened fabric and I am sure it cost the earth. I used a bit of leopard style fabric I got in another bag a previous time, they were meatn for each other. I use warm and natural batting and craft fuse in all my bags. The base is made from one of those hard plastic see thru placemats, they are way better then cardboard. I talk to much .
