crochet peacock
Now with a pattern, though this is my first time ever writing one for anyone other then myself so please let me know if it works out for you :D
I found a ball of the multi-color yarn at a thrift store and knew it was going to be a peacock immediately. I think he turned out great!

    body:
    1. 6sc in magic circle (6)
    2. 2sc in each stitch around (12)
    3. (2sc in 1, sc in 1) around (18)

    6-9 sc around (30)
    10. (sc2tog, sc in 3) around (24)

    wings, make 2:
    ch7, sc in 2nd ch and next, 1hdc, dc, dc, 6tcin last
    working in back of stitches: dc, dc, hdc, sc, slst

    Tail:
    1. 6sc in magic circle (6)
    2. 2sc in each stitch around (12)
    3. (2sc in 1, sc in 1) around (18)
    4. (2sc in 1, sc in 2) around (24)
    5. (2sc in 1, sc in 3) around (30)
    continue in this manner until the circle fold in half is a size you are happy with.
    now scallop the edges by skipping a stitch, 5dc in1, skst, slst, 5dc in1, and so on around.
    Now fold the tail just off slightly from half so you have 2 rows of scallops showing and attach to the body.

    feet, make 2:
    1. 6sc in mc (6)
    2. (2sc in 1) around (12)
    3. popcorn, slst, popcorn, slst, popcorn, slst and FO

    attach all pieces to the body and add some yarn bits to the head.

I never wrote one out while making it, but i will see if i can work out a pattern in the next week for him.
Funny about the turkey meeshelle, i had seen a picture of one which is what gave me the idea for him in the first place.
