Creating a patchwork wallpaper effect using offcuts.
Just a pack of wallpaper paste and some patterned paper is all you need to create a vintage-inspired wallpaper effect in your home - or in my case, in my caravan!

    Step 1

    Use wallpaper paste to cover walls with any longer lengths of wallpaper you have - this will ensure there are no gaps and will give you a base to work with. Here I have alternated floral and striped wallpapers.

    Step 2

    Cut squares and rectangles from off-cuts of wallpaper, wrapping paper or patterned paper and paste them at random on top of the wallpaper base.

    The fun part is experimenting with using different papers and shapes together to create a unique 'patchwork' finish.
