Patatas Bravas
A delicious Spanish dish of spiced potatoes, usually served as a tapas.

Clean and peal two potatoes, chop them in to 1" cubes.

Add a few drops of oil to a frying pan and saute the onion and garlic until soft.

Remove from the heat and add the thyme, Tabasco sauce and paprika.

Place in a bowl and mix in the mayonnaise and tomato ketchup.
-

Pour the remaining oil in to the frying pan and fry the potatoes until soft and golden.
-

Drain the potatoes, mix in with the sauce and serve hot.

But I think it would be better say "Papas Bravas" ;)

Nuhbe.... Patatas = potatoes in SPAIN.. so.. since it's a Spanish recipe - Patatas Bravas. =D

Yes, they are called patatas bravas, I ate plenty of them while in Spain. We also have a tapas bar here in town and they have the same thing. So delicious!!

Don't be so quick to correct someone.
Papas is Spanish slang for patatas, & is more commonly used. I lived there & know this for a fact. =D
