I am Pata. I love Jack Daniels. And the Toyo Giants. And I am teh uberchill.

That inspired me to do this project! Yes, you could call me a Pata fangirl XD I adore him. And his guitar skillz are LOVE <3

Okay, enough fangirlism.
I worked a few days on him. He was fairly easy to make, but the hair was the tricky part >_> Well... the momst boring part X_x He just has... SO much hair........
I'm going to make a mini bottle of Jack Daniels for him :D (Because that's Pata's favorite. Or should I say addiction?) And a T-shirt of the Tokyo Giants :D (his favorite baseball team <3)

(btw, random fact: Pata was the only member of X with chest hair XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD)

Okay, let's start!! Making your own Pata plushie in 20 easy steps!!

Ready? 3....... 2........ 1......... GO!!!

  1. Step 1

    Step 1

    Gather your patterns! I got mine here:

    Cut them out on whatever paper you can find. People talk about speshul "pattern paper", but you could use anything, actually. Pattern paper is more for clothes.

  2. Step 2

    Step 2

    Pin your patterns on the fabric. I used something brown and soft that feels like fleece.

    Step 3

    Cut the pieces of fabric.
    You'll need:
    - 2x body
    - 2x head
    - 4x ear
    - 2x tail

  4. Step 4

    Step 4

    Pin the two bodies together and sew!


  5. Step 5

    Then, turn inside out and stuff. You can use pillow stuffing, or kill an old plushie. (I did the last. Poor Panther, he's a lot skinnier now.)

  6. Step 6

    Cut out some circles in baby pink for the paws. Glue them on. (You could also sew them on, but I prefer glue. It's easier and takes less time XD)

  7. Step 7

    If you've done everything right, you should get something like this.
    (If not, throw your work out of the window and go cry in a corner. Then, return to step one.)

    Now do the same for the tail...

    ...and ears. I glued felt on it again to make them look more cat-ear ish.
    Remember: don't sew the lowest side of the ear!! (The pink line in the picture)

    The head! Draw the face. Pata has a very lazy, "muh", "i don't care" dope-ish kind of expression, so I drew something like this: -.-

    TURN INSIDE OUT.
    Sew, turn inside out AGAIN and stuff.
    (the turning is very important, otherwise, the face will be on the inside of your plushie!)

  12. Step 12

    Stuff the ears in case you didn't do that yet.
    Sew the ears to the head, and the head and tail to the body.

  13. Step 13

    You can stop right here if you want to, and you'd have a great cat plushie.
    BUT WE WANT PATA XDD So the real Pata fans have to go on and move over to the worst part... THE HAIR.

    I don't know how to exprain this... I hope the pictures will do the talking XD

    (and yay for stupid drawings in the background XDD you may notice the Pata drawing, somewhere underneath Yoshiki.)

    Just fill up the head with the wool.

    Done glueing!
    XD Pata looks like a monster.

    HAIRDRESS TIME! I love this part!
    Because Pata never goes to the hairdresser (or at least, that's what I think XD) his hair is fairly simple. Just straight and long. So it's very easy to cut.
    The more wool you used, the better the result will be.

    (AND YEAH THAT'S MY HAND IN THE MIRROR, in case you didn't notice. And an X drawing, spread beaver poster, english dictionary and rose.)
