• 

  Step 1

  Cut a strip of paper about the size of the strip shown in the picture.

• 

  Step 2

  This is just a close up of the size of the strip of paper.

• 

  Step 3

  Now, getting started.
  Get the top of the strip.
  Fold down diagonally, making a triangle.

• 

  Step 4

  Fold the excess part of the triangle
  behind the strip,horizontally.

• 

  Step 5

  IT should now look like this, a octagon with a long strip hanging off.

• 

  Step 6

  Wrap and wrap the long strip around the octagon,matching all the sides.

• 

  Step 7

  Leave this much hanging off.

• 

  Step 8

  Fold the excess strip into one of the creases in the octagon.

• 

  Step 9

  You now have a perfect octagon! (:

  Pinch the five corners,making a star.
  Be careful not to pinch TOO much.

  To make it easier, pinch a little and little until you get it pinched just the amount you want (helpful for beginners)

  Step 10

  THERE YOU HAVE YOUR STAR<3

  Step 11

  Draw on em, use colored paper,
  save them up in a clear jar!
