Looks great with colour paper. Also a great way to fold love notes/ letters.

Start with a plain or colour piece of paper.

Fold corners to make creases in the paper. These creases will help when it comes to folding in the paper.

Unfold.

Now do the same to the other side.

these are the creases.

This part is a bit tricky. Use the creases as guides and fold them inwards so that it makes point.

This is a side view.

Take the points of newly created triangle and fold upwards.

now fold the lower half of the paper in half.

do the same to the other side.

Turn the paper around, and fold the paper so that it is just leaves a triangle

Now fold the triangle down
-
fold the corner of the paper into the pocket of the folded down triangle.

Do the same to the other side to make the bottom of the love heart.

Tuck in the remaining pieces into the pocket of the folded down triangle.
-
do the same to the other side.
-
Da da you have yourself a paper heart.
