-

Take a few sheets of A4 paper and cut it in to strips length ways.
-

Make a glue like paste out of 1 parts water to 1 part flour. Mix together well.
-

Take a stick, I used a cocktail skewer, and wrap a piece of paper up around it.
-

Cover the paper in paste.
-

Push the bead down the stick and then repeat until the stick is full.
-

Let the beads dry and then remove them from the stick.
-

Paint and decorate the beads.

Nice, quick, cheeeeep - thanks, Cat! You can also make beads of printed cloth by wrapping it around a soda straw. Paint with white glue. Add glitter. Cut the covered straw into beads when it's dry.

These are great! Instead of painting them you can roll them over strips of magazine pages for color while still wet. Then string them up and make a cheap and easy custom beaded doorway! btw, I LOVE THIS BLOG!! Keep up the great work!

If you're lazy like I am, you can just dot clue on the end of the bead. I used cut up magazines to vary the patterns. Oh and I loooove your blog!

Click the blog tab at the top. The projects use to appear as blog entries, so that's what they were referring to.
