Make your self a special side table!

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

I used the pages from an old book. You can use also pages from a magazine, but not a newspaper because they are thin. Fold your pages to form stripes.

  2. Step 2 2

Start gluing them together to form a base for the table. My base is 20cm in diameter, it was enough for the tray i used. When you get to the size it fits your tray hot glue it to the back of it.

  3. Step 3 3

I made 20 triangles for each row. Measure the perimeter of the paper base and divide it by 10. Make your stripes a little bigger, because you should calculate the joinings of the triangles.Mine are 4.9cm at each side.

  4. Step 4 4

Carefully start gluing, with white glue, covering all the sides of the paper to stiffen it a bit. Don't make it too tall, it will not be very steady. I made ten rows. Careful to make them straight! That's the tricky part! I think it is better to make a couple of rows, let them dry and then continue with the next one.

  5. Step 5 5

I covered the whole base with another coat of white glue, filled some blanks on the triangles also. Let it dry overnight and spray paint with the color you like!
